 ABOUT OUR TEAM

Northwest Hoops describes Jesuit: Gene Potter shows once again why he is one of the best coaches in the state. Who wouldn't want to play for him? Kevin Chalmers, 6'-1" senior guard (11.3 pts./gm.) is one of the best shooters in the state and John Elorriaga, 6'-4" senior wing (3.3 pts./gm.) should get more looks this season.    Kevin McShane, 6'-8" senior forward  had a great summer and has always been one of the most fundamentally sound players in his class. McShane is a solid defender and rebounder and has improved his offensive ability. McShane could be one of the biggest surprises of the season.  Dan Feest, 5'-10" senior guard, has been one of the most improved players in the Crusaders program. Brad Gerbing, 6'-5" junior forward, becomes one of the main front line players for the Crusaders, and adds some perimeter shooting as well. Raphiel Lambert, 5'-8" senior point guard, Sam Kaempf, 6'-1" junior guard (2.0 pts./gm.), Robert Phillips 6'-2" sophomore guard, and Andrew Lopez, 6'-0" senior guard, work there way into the back court positions. Mike Remmers, 6'-5" senior forward,  adds depth on the front line. The Crusaders system and tradition should never be counted out

 ABOUT KEVIN

Kevin McShane may still be a work in progress. But the growing 6-foot-8, 195-pound post from Jesuit High School in Portland has definitely had his moments on the basketball court this season, and contributions from him will be needed if the Crusaders are to make another run at state. McShane's potential as a skilled big man certainly draws intrigue, and he's hoping the improvement he's shown as a senior will help him reach his college aspirations.               OregonPreps.com Staff
